Ronald Xavier Peterson - Will Be Missed By The Richmond Squires Family (1951 - 2010)

Ronald Xavier Peterson known as Ron Pete to the Squires organization became a valued family member in 1982. He was in many ways the core of the organization who served as coach and mentor to many young men who came through the organization. He was the liaison between the colleges and players facilitating opportunities, He was a coordinator of the transportation for the player visits to college campus and to key exposure tournaments and camps, and was provider of key content for the organization’s web-site. Ron unselfishly took on many roles as a Squire member and will be truly missed.

Ronald Xavier Peterson was the Assistant Director of Advising/Generalist at the University College at Virginia Commonwealth University during the day but known as Ron Pete to the Squires organization . Ron became a valued family member in 1982 until his untimely departure on June 5, 2010. He was in many ways the silent core of the organization who served as coach and mentor to many young men who came through the organization. He was the liaison between the colleges and players facilitating opportunities, He was a coordinator of the transportation for the player visits to college campus and to key exposure tournaments and camps, and was provider of key content for the organization’s web-site. Ron unselfishly took on many roles as a Squire member and will be truly missed.
